The phenolic kraft paper one-step impregnation line is mainly used for producing phenolic kraft paper, a key material for the HPL.

In HPL, phenolic impregnated kraft paper serves as the core layer, requiring excellent resin penetration, strong interlayer bonding, and high heat resistance.

With a mature structure and stable operation, the line is suitable for kraft paper of different basis weights and various phenolic resin systems. It balances continuous production efficiency with product consistency, making it an ideal solution for producing HPL core paper.

Process Configuration

Arm-radial rewinder An arm-radial rewinder winds the web using a rotating arm while maintaining stable tension and quick roll change. Impregnantion giuer An impregnation gluer applies and meters resin onto the base paper to ensure uniform impregnation and controlled resin pickup before drying. Drying ovensDrying ovens remove moisture and solvents to bring the resin to the required B-stage. CoolerCooler reduces the temperature of the impregnated material after drying, stabilizing the sheet for cutting, stacking, or further processing. Deviation adjustorDeviation adjustor corrects lateral web misalignment to keep the material running centrally and stably along the line. TractionTraction provides controlled pulling force to move the material through the line at a stable speed and tension. Paper cutterPaper cutter cuts the impregnated web into sheets of the required length. ConveyorConveyor transfers the cut sheets smoothly to the stacking or next processing stage.
